A live-in au pair is required for a small family in Twickenham to look after an active 6 year old girl. The person must be reliable, flexible, fit, neat and responsible with a good command of English and a sunny disposition. Must also enjoy spending time with children and be a non-smoker. Duties include the following:

• Getting child ready for school in the morning and preparing packed lunch
• Taking child to and from school/activities/park/play dates
• Preparing child’s meal after school and assisting with/supervising homework
• Getting child ready for bed
• Keeping child’s room tidy and light housework
• Responsible for child’s laundry
• Babysitting 2 evenings per week

My daughter is happy and energetic and loves dance and gymnastics, art and cooking. We live in a nice home with a garden in Twickenham and are offering a bedroom with TV, freeview, DVD, shared bathroom and shower room and access to wireless broadband for your laptop. I am very particular about cleanliness therefore the applicant should have an enhanced awareness of hygiene and tidiness. Compensation is £70 per week plus food, accommodation and a zone 4/5/6 travel card. Weekends are free albeit one of the babysitting nights may fall on a weekend from time to time. You will need to make your own enquiries regarding any studies you wish to undertake, but must be mindful that the hours of 7.00-8.30am and 3.00-7.00pm must be covered Monday-Friday. A minimum commitment of 9 months is essential and you must be able to start on 3rd January 2011.
