Live in, lovely nanny required starting late Aug 08.

We are looking for a fun, loving, lovely and experienced live-in nanny to come help us look after our two lovely little girls and to provide sole charge care, starting end of August. The children will be 5 and 3 years old and they are at school and nursery. While they are out of the house, there will be some light housekeeping duties (although we have a cleaner twice a week).

We are looking for a creative person who is interested in a long-term position and is energetic, flexible, enthusiastic, warm, friendly, fun, organised and tidy, keen to get out & about, trustworthy, reliable, flexible, punctual, hard-working, firm but fair and can become part of our family, a nanny who doesn’t mind mucking in and working alongside parents. We both work from home but are very busy and need someone who can just get on with things!

We are looking for someone who likes to stimulate children by going out to the park, playing games, painting, colouring, singing, play dates, etc. Other duties would include children's laundry, cooking simple nutritious meals, school runs, grocery shopping, also some household help e.g. loading/unloading dishwasher, tidying, hoovering, washing, ironing, just generally helping around the house whilst the children are at school/nursery.

The position is Monday to Friday, approximately 8.00am to 7pm, with two nights babysitting a week included, occasionally a Saturday night. There will be 4 weeks paid holiday each year, plus 2 weeks unpaid holiday (although this is negotiable)

Duties include:
- Standard nanny duties (feeding, laundry, kids ironing, tidying up, bathing, etc)
- Be proactive about what is happening at school (events, quizzes, performance, etc) and help with homework - THIS IS ESSENTIAL
- Prepare good and healthy meals fresh everyday
- Do school run during term time
- light housekeeping whilst children are at school
- Other activities (e.g. organise play dates, dance, french class, swimming, etc)
- Stimulate children physically, intellectually and creatively

Requirements:
- You must be a fluent English speaker and be in London so that we can meet for an interview.
- Non-smoker
- You must have a minimum of 3 years sole charge experience
- Have CRB check and excellent references
- Full valid work permit or Visa.
- Be very active and creative
- First Aid
- Be organised, punctual, reliable and neat
- Willing to make long term commitment
- Driver with full licence.

Accommodation provided is a lovely self contained garden studio flat,WIFI, large tv, double bed, own kitchenette, shower room, toilet, separate entrance, and large doors which open onto the beautiful garden. There is also main use of a small car. We live in a lovely area in a large house, close to great outdoor spaces, bus routes, and shops!
Good wage, current nanny recommends position.
