Live in Housekeeper Nanny for two great boys from July 27th

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

We are looking for a positive, organised, mature person to help run our busy house and two children. We have had nannies since the birth of our first son 11 yrs ago and the shortest thay have stayed is 18 months, so we must be doing something right. At the moment we are looking for someone from 27th July for at least a year.

This job involves getting the boys up at 7am and getting them ready for schoo,then dropping them off at about 8.15. Then in the afternoon they are collected from school at about 4pm, brought home and supervised till 7pm. Their school is 1 mile from home.

In between the house and laundry need looking after, which takes our current nanny about 2-3hrs a day.

The boys are aged 11 and 9 and very sweet. They need help with homework and school projects, so good English is essential. They also have to be reminded to practice the piano. Every evening they have a main meal and appreciate good cooking skills! They get themselves ready for bed with the usual nagging to clean teeth etc.

About once a week they tend to see friends after school and they also need ferrying to and from, after school activities.

I work full time and their father works from home. We are very relaxed and respect people's privacy, in exchange expecting honesty and hard work.

The house is large and needs constant attention to keep it under control, but there is plenty of space for everyone and it has been modernised recently.

The nanny accommodation is a large bedroom with TV/DVD, wireless connection and shower room. It is seperate on the top floor of our house. Inc is a car for use at all times.(a Renault Megane)

Amersham is a pretty suburb about 40 mins away from London by train and we are about a 10 mins walk from the station. It has a good range of shops and facilities inc a gym and pool. The position involves doing some of the grocery shopping and running errands in the area.

You must be a non smoker and happy to help look after our two cats.

Pay is generous and includes four weeks holiday a year, one week of which may be taken when we are not away. In fact we tend to go away about 5 weeks a year and sometimes we ask that the house and cats be looked after.

Our existing South African nanny is happy to speak to people and give us references.

We need at least three references which will all be followed up.
