We are a friendly, sociable family looking for an au pair to help care for our children, (girl 4, boy 1.5 yr)to start in late August/ early September. Hours are 7.30am to 6pm Mondays to Fridays.

The candidate should love being with children. We are looking for someone energetic, hardworking and physically strong. Will suit someone who is cheerful, enthusiastic, responsible, positive and caring. Previous experience of caring for young children essential. Daily activities include school run (daughter goes to school full time) and after school should include going out, talking to the children and engaging in their play, being a sensible, self-thinking and positive role-model for them. Housework include cleaning, ironing, laundry and meals for the children, keeping the house generally tidy and 1 nights’ babysitting per week, weekends free.

Non smoker.

Must have valid work permit/visas (if outside the EU), checkable references and be available to attend an interview in London.

We offer a lovely private accommodation (self contained studio) with own bathroom, tea kitchen, TV. Use of laptop with wireless internet access in the evenings + free travel into central London during the weekends. Weekly salary starts at £150 (moving up to maximum of £200 per week depending on experience and performance). Oyster card and expenses paid.

We live in a lovely English town 20 mins by train to central London (trains to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Waterloo and Victoria).
