We are a friendly family of 5 looking for 2 calm, independent, easy going and fun au-pairs with good English who are genuinely interested in childcare to help look after our children B10, G8 and G6. All our children are at school full time. We live in Putney SW15 London in a large, rather chaotic house 5mins from a language college, 5mins walk from the underground and 10mins walk to Putney town centre. On the top floor are 1-2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen dedicated to our au-pairs. We’re looking for 2 au-pairs either friends or a couple in order to cover the hours we need help for. We expect our au-pairs to look after themselves at weekends - providing their own food and cooking their own meals - hence the salary level to allow for this. Both au pairs must be drivers (automatic fine), must have good English, be non smokers and police checked. Pay £75-85 per week for each aupair

So what’s the job ?
- Get children up, dressed and fed and drive to school in the morning.
- Some housework and odd jobs - washing, cleaning, cooking, gardening (10-15hrs) per week
- Collect children from school. Take to afternoon activities.
- Supervision of homework in the evening and listening to children's reading.
- Prepare childrens’ supper, do bathing etc.
- Preparation of family meals

Experience/qualifications needed
- Good spoken English for both au-pairs not just one
- Both au pairs must have at least an automatic driving license with significant driving experience
- Someone independent who does not feel the need to be constantly part of the family
- Experience of cooking nutritional food
- Non-smokers
- Applicants must be EU Citizens, or have the right to work full-time in the UK

Working hours:
- 25 hours per week each plus up to 2 nights babysitting
- School holiday cover will be needed; hours will remain 25 hours per week each but the times will be different and there will be fewer other tasks! We will sometimes need cover if the children are off school ill e.g, with a cold etc

Salary/Pocket money: £75-85 per week each au pair
Start : ASAP need 12 months commitment, ideally more
Holidays : 4-6 weeks paid holiday per year (plus an additional 2 weeks unpaid leave in August)
