Hello,
We are a friendly, international couple (English and Swiss) looking for a kind, responsible aupair to care for our 3 year old daughter Delphine.
We are looking for someone to start in mid-September 2008 and to stay for a minimum of 9 months.
We live in a spacious family home (with garden) in Fulham, 5 mins walk from Parson's Green station (District line). The aupair accommodation is a large double bedroom with own bathroom and own roof terrace on a separate floor of the house.
Responsibilities:
My partner and I both work full time and Delphine goes to nursery 5 mornings a week (from 9am to 12:15), so we would need you to:
- prepare Delphine's breakfast and get her ready for nursery
- take her to and from nursery every day
- look after her on 3 afternoons a week (take her to activities - library / swimming / classes etc) from 12:15 to 6.30 when we return from work.
Her grandmother looks after her on the other 2 afternoons a week.
- we also require flexibility for babysitting at least 4 nights a week (including weekends).
Therefore the working hours are approximately 28 hours a week, plus babysitting.
There is NO housework involved in the job, other than preparing meals for Delphine and keeping her bedroom / toys tidy. We have a housekeeper who comes 3 times a week.
We are a very close, loving family and our daughter is a happy, vivacious child. Therefore we would like to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, who is dynamic, patient and well-organised, and above all professional and kind.
Good English is essential and we also prefer a non-smoker.
We will also need to check references.
We are offering to pay £100 a week, including all food and accommodation.
